El cuatro principal se completó con las cuatro parejas clasificadas en la fase previa, encuentros que se desarrollaron en el club de pádel Los Naranjos. La mayoría de clasificados son jóvenes parejas argentinas que tendrán la posibilidad de disputar por primera vez un torneo del Pádel Pro Tour.
En cuanto a las principales figuras, llegan de una dura pre temporada y algunos con más pádel que otros, con lo cual se antoja difícil hacer pronósticos para este primer torneo.
Además tendremos la oportunidad de ver en acción a nuevas parejas, pero principalmente la "reconciliación" de antiguas duplas como Marcello Jardim y Willy Lahoz, o Fernando Poggi y Sanyo Gutiérrez, por mencionar los dos casos más salientes en el top ten. Este marplatense nacionalizado español, dijo que "es un verdadero placer, aunque también una presión, volver a jugar en Mar del Plata, en mi casa y ante mi gente. Tendremos aquí a los mejores jugadores del momento y esperemos que salga una buena semana de pádel".
Al hacer un análisis sobre el estado de forma en que llegan los números 1 a este primer torneo del año, explicó que "con la misma incertidumbre de todos los años por estas fechas. Hace cuatro meses que disputamos el último torneo oficial y desde entonces no hemos jugado juntos. Como si fuera poco tenemos un partido muy duro en primera ronda ante Malacalza-Derito, con lo cual será un paso importante si conseguimos la victoria".
Finalmente, al evaluar las pruebas promocionales celebradas en Mendoza y San Luis, las cuales disputó en compañía de Roby Gattiker, explicó que "ha sido una gran experiencia y me asombró la gran cantidad de público que tuvimos. Esperemos que estos torneos puedan tener continuidad. Obviamente hay muchas cosas por mejorar pero eso te lo va dando la experiencia en la organización de torneos y estoy seguro que se podrán consolidar estas pruebas como puntuables dentro del Pádel Pro Tour", sentenció Díaz.
